Resource persons

One of the main purposes of the Centre, is to distribute lecture plans of high quality out to all schools throughout the country. The intention is that this will increase the quality of mathematics on all levels in Norwegian schools.

The idea of spreading good ideas and lectures of high quality is central in the centre's work philosophy

A tool to secure this, is to make sure that we have an increasing number of people capable of sharing the knowledge we obtain. The centre is very much involved in educating individuals who can travel and give lectures throughout the country.  When someone is giving a lecture, the goal is to reach someone who will become so involved that he or she eventually becomes a new resource person for The Centre.

Everyone who becomes a resource person has to take a class and then follow a plan to be qualified as a lecturer. The individuals who take on these roles meet regularly at seminars at the centre where they exchange experiences and get updated on new information concerning research and current projects.
