Unpacking Mathematical Profiles in Students with Dyscalculia and Other Learning Difficulties

This talk introduces a developmental, multidimensional framework for dyscalculia, integrating mathematical, cognitive, and affective factors. By unpacking five domains—number-symbol understanding, fact retrieval, calculations, reasoning, and geometry—it shows how learner profiles guide accurate diagnosis and tailored interventions.
